Background and Qualifications


Jacqueline Miaso (President) has over twenty-five years experience in all phases of bookkeeping and accounting both as in-house accountant and in providing assistance directly to a business. The broad based businesses served includes transportation, construction, food service, banking, retail, non-profit, and manufacturing. Jacquie has a degree from Goldey Beacom College and added study in Accounting and Information Technology from Bay College and the Detroit College of Business. She is also a Certified Bookkeeper and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is a member in good standing of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Ronald Miaso (Vice-President) has thirty years experience in Finance, Management, Purchasing, and Engineering with much of it as Senior Manager on the Finance Staff at a major Fortune 500 Corporation. Ron has an undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit (BME) and a graduate degree in Management (Finance) from the University of Michigan. He has also taught college level classes as well as run numerous in-house training classes and seminars. Recent seminar offerings include "Finance for the Non-financial Manager", "Understanding Financial Statements", and "Non-profit FInancial Statements". His broad background includes Business Valuation, Business Planning, Contract Management, Budget Development, and Cost Control. He has successfully managed operations with  annual operating budgets in excess of $500 Million as well as multi year performance contracts. He is a member of the Marquette Economic Club and the Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance.

Reva Kleiman (QuickBooks Specialist) brings over fifteen years experience in small business bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation to the company. Reva adds another Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor to DBS and has the distinction of also being a Certified Income Tax Preparer for personal and small business taxes. She will concentrate on assisting with the on and off site bookkeeping needs of small business clients as well as assisting with offsite training sessions.
